Call for Papers

Potential contributors to this conference are invited to use the Application to Present form to submit an abstract.
Papers by students will be considered.
For information on fees and registration see the Registration page.
Further information on the conference will become available on this website as preparations progress.

The conference will be cross-disciplinary. Although ICAF is based within anthropology, it encourages cross-disciplinary communication between researchers in academic and in other institutions and organisations. As for all ICAF conferences, the intention is to publish appropriate papers and assist in publication options.

Papers are sought on a broad range of relevant perspectives, including: social aspects, cultural diversity, nutrition, fishing, production and processing, gastronomy and culinary practices, as well as contemporary issues about fish stocks and environmental conditions, leading to perspectives on a sustainable future.
