Approach

The conference will be cross-disciplinary. Although ICAF is based within anthropology, it encourages cross-disciplinary communication between researchers in academic and in other institutions and organisations. As for all ICAF conferences, the intention is to publish appropriate papers and assist in publication options.

Scope

Papers are sought on a broad range of relevant perspectives, including: social aspects, cultural diversity, nutrition, fishing, production and processing, gastronomy and culinary practices, as well as contemporary issues about fish stocks and environmental conditions, leading to perspectives on a sustainable future.
